Want to enjoy your computer’s content on a bigger screen? Casting your display to your TV is simple and can be done either wirelessly or with built-in features, depending on your setup.
Option 1: Using Chromecast or a Smart TV with Cast Support
- Ensure your computer and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your computer.
- In Chrome: click the three-dot menu, select Cast, and choose your TV or Chromecast.
- In Edge: click the three-dot menu, select More Tools → Cast Media to Device, then choose your TV or Chromecast.
- For full screen mirroring, select Cast desktop instead of casting a single tab.
- Your computer screen should now appear on your TV.
Option 2: Using Wireless Display (Miracast for Windows PCs)
- If your TV supports Miracast, press Windows Key + K to open the Cast menu.
- Select your TV or Miracast-enabled device from the list.
- Choose Duplicate or Extend mode, depending on your preference.
- Your desktop will now be displayed on the TV.
With these methods, you can easily mirror your computer screen and enjoy videos, presentations, or browsing on a larger display. Whether you use Chromecast, Smart TV casting, or Miracast, the process is quick and convenient.
